The Tata Trusts Merit Scholarship aims to support high-achieving engineering students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India. This scholarship covers tuition fees and provides a stipend for living expenses, enabling students to focus entirely on their studies.
Established in alignment with Tata Trusts' mission to improve the quality of life of communities, this scholarship has benefited over 500 students since its inception. Recipients join a network of Tata Scholars who receive mentorship and career guidance throughout their academic journey.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be an Indian citizen
Currently enrolled in an AICTE-approved engineering programme
Minimum 75% in 12th standard or equivalent
Annual family income below ₹8,00,000
Not receiving any other scholarship exceeding ₹10,000
